Robert de Mézières: Filmactivist
Bio
Born in Durban, Robert Michael de Mézières Lepervanche is a South African filmmaker (writer-director-editor), blogger and activist with more than 25 years Film/TV experience in various roles.

He is best known for writing, producing, directing and editing the groundbreaking shock-doc, Shooting Bokkie, the short (1998) and award-winning feature (2003). The feature re-screened at Visions Du Reel in 2017 to rave reviews.

Rob is currently writing, developing and raising slate investment for several Film/TV projects in progress. He sometimes writes and blogs under the pen-name, De Mezier.
